  • 1/2 cup Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Sun-dried tomatoes (packed in oil, drained) finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp Fresh basil chopped
  • 1 tbsp Fresh oregano chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Finely chop the sun-dried tomatoes and mince the garlic cloves.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the chopped sun-dried tomatoes, minced garlic, extra virgin olive oil, fresh basil, fresh oregano, salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
  3. Stir all ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  4. Allow the dip to sit for at least 15 minutes at room temperature before serving to enhance the flavors.
  5. Serve with crusty bread, pita bread, or your favorite crackers.
