Ingredients
  

For the Marinade
  • 1 can Cherry Dr Pepper
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
For the Chicken
  • 4 pieces chicken breasts

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine Cherry Dr Pepper, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them.
  3. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
Grilling
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  3. Grill the chicken for 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  4. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For better flavor, marinate the chicken overnight. Ensure your grill is hot for nice grill marks. Use a meat thermometer to check the chicken’s internal temperature for safety. Feel free to add other spices or herbs for extra flavor.
