Ingredients
  

Gummy Base
  • 1 cup fruit juice any flavor
  • 4 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon citric acid optional, for tang

Method
 

Making Gummy Bears
  1. In a small saucepan, gently heat the fruit juice over low heat until warm but not boiling.
  2. Gradually whisk in the unflavored gelatin powder, stirring constantly until completely dissolved and no lumps remain. Add honey or maple syrup and citric acid, if using, and stir well.
  3. Carefully pour the mixture into silicone gummy bear molds using a dropper for precision, filling each cavity evenly.
  4. Transfer the filled molds to the refrigerator and chill for at least 30-60 minutes, or until the gummies are firm and set.
  5. Once firm, gently remove the gummy bears from their molds and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

For best results, store your homemade gummy bear fruit snacks in the refrigerator. They can last for up to a week.
