Ingredients

Sushi Base
  • 2 cups sushi rice
Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb salmon fillet, cooked and flaked
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup spicy mayo (mayonnaise mixed with sriracha)
  • 2 pieces green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (optional)
  • Nori sheets (optional, for serving)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook sushi rice according to package instructions. Spread the cooked rice evenly in a greased casserole dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine flaked salmon, cream cheese, spicy mayo, and chopped green onions. Mix well.
  4. Spread the salmon mixture over the rice in the casserole dish.
  5. Drizzle soy sauce over the top if desired.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until heated through and slightly golden on top.
  2. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve warm, optionally with nori sheets.

Notes

Use day-old sushi rice for the best texture. For extra heat, increase the sriracha in the spicy mayo. Add veggies like avocado or cucumber for extra flavor.
