Preparation
- Prepare the chocolate cake base and let it cool completely.
- Melt the dark chocolate over a double boiler or in the microwave. Let it cool.
Layering
- Whip 1 cup of heavy cream with 1/4 cup powdered sugar until soft peaks form, then fold in the melted dark chocolate.
- Pour this mixture over the cooled cake layer.
- Repeat the process for the milk chocolate and white chocolate layers, ensuring each layer sets before adding the next.
- Chill the cake for at least 4 hours until it is fully set.
Finishing
- Before serving, whip the remaining heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Spread this over the top of the cake.
- Dust the top with cocoa powder before slicing and serving.
