Ingredients
  

Chocolate Layers
  • 1 cup dark chocolate, chopped Finely chopped for even melting
  • 1 cup milk chocolate, chopped Finely chopped for even melting
  • 1 cup white chocolate, chopped Finely chopped for even melting
Whipped Cream
  • 2 cups heavy cream Divided for layering and topping
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar Divided for whipping
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract For flavor in the topping
Cake Base
  • 1 cake chocolate cake (store-bought or homemade) Must be cooled completely
  • Cocoa powder For dusting before serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prepare the chocolate cake base and let it cool completely.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate over a double boiler or in the microwave. Let it cool.
Layering
  1. Whip 1 cup of heavy cream with 1/4 cup powdered sugar until soft peaks form, then fold in the melted dark chocolate.
  2. Pour this mixture over the cooled cake layer.
  3. Repeat the process for the milk chocolate and white chocolate layers, ensuring each layer sets before adding the next.
  4. Chill the cake for at least 4 hours until it is fully set.
Finishing
  1. Before serving, whip the remaining heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Spread this over the top of the cake.
  2. Dust the top with cocoa powder before slicing and serving.

Notes

Make sure to chill each layer before adding the next to ensure they set properly. Use high-quality chocolate for the best flavor.
