  • 1 tbsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tbsp Dried Thyme
  • 1 tbsp Dried Rosemary
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar optional

Method
 

Making the Rub
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried rosemary, and brown sugar (if using).
  2. Whisk or stir all ingredients together until they are thoroughly combined and no lumps remain.
  3. Transfer the turkey rub to an airtight container and store it in a cool, dry place until you are ready to use it on your turkey.

Notes

For best results, apply the rub generously to a thawed turkey, both under and over the skin, and let it sit for at least 30 minutes, or overnight in the refrigerator, before roasting.
