Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine shredded turkey, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is thoroughly combined.
- Take about 2 tablespoons of the mixture and form it into a small, drumstick-like shape. If desired, insert a pretzel stick into one end to resemble a bone.
Cooking
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the shaped turkey treats on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and heated through, flipping halfway. Alternatively, pan-fry in a little oil until golden.
- Serve hot as a fun appetizer or snack.
Notes
For extra flavor, use smoked turkey leg meat. These treats can be prepared ahead of time and reheated.
