Cooking Steps
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat, then add chicken pieces and cook until browned on all sides.
- Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside, leaving any drippings in the pan.
- Add chopped onion to the skillet and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
- Mix in tomato paste and all the spices (garam masala, turmeric, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper), stirring for 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, bring the mixture to a simmer, and cook for 10-15 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce has slightly thickened.

Notes
