  • 12 Strawberries large, ripe
  • 1 cup Whipped Cream or cream cheese frosting
  • 24 Mini Chocolate Chips for eyes

Method
 

Assembly
  1. Wash and hull each strawberry, then carefully slice a small portion off the bottom to create a flat base for stability; cut off the top third to form the Santa hat.
  2. Pipe or dollop a generous amount of whipped cream onto the larger strawberry base, shaping it to resemble Santa's body and beard.
  3. Gently place the reserved strawberry "hat" on top of the whipped cream body, securing it in place.
  4. Add a tiny dollop of whipped cream to the tip of the strawberry hat to create a fluffy pom-pom.
  5. Carefully place two mini chocolate chips for the eyes on the whipped cream "face" and optionally add a small red sprinkle or dot of frosting for a nose.

Notes

For best results, use firm, fresh strawberries. You can substitute store-bought whipped cream with homemade or a cream cheese frosting for a richer flavor and firmer texture. Keep refrigerated until serving.
