Method
Making the Jam
- In a saucepan, combine strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice.
- Cook over medium heat until the mixture thickens, about 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and let cool.
Whipping the Cheese
- In a mixing bowl, whip the goat cheese and honey until smooth and creamy.
Serving
- Serve the strawberry jam on top of the honey whipped goat cheese on a plate or board.
- Garnish with fresh thyme if desired.
Notes
Store any leftover strawberry jam in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 1-2 weeks. The honey whipped goat cheese can also be stored in the fridge for up to a week, kept covered to maintain freshness.
