Ingredients
  

For the Strawberry Jam
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped Use ripe strawberries for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup sugar Feel free to adjust the amount based on your sweetness preference.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
For the Honey Whipped Goat Cheese
  • 8 ounces goat cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • Optional Fresh thyme for garnish For a touch of color and flavor.

Method
 

Making the Jam
  1. In a saucepan, combine strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice.
  2. Cook over medium heat until the mixture thickens, about 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool.
Whipping the Cheese
  1. In a mixing bowl, whip the goat cheese and honey until smooth and creamy.
Serving
  1. Serve the strawberry jam on top of the honey whipped goat cheese on a plate or board.
  2. Garnish with fresh thyme if desired.

Notes

Store any leftover strawberry jam in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 1-2 weeks. The honey whipped goat cheese can also be stored in the fridge for up to a week, kept covered to maintain freshness.
