Ingredients

Cheesecake Filling
  • 8 oz Cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
Strawberry Crunch
  • 15 Golden Oreo cookies crushed
  • 1/2 cup Freeze-dried strawberries crushed
  • 1/4 cup Melted butter
Taco Shells
  • 12 Small flour tortillas
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable oil for frying/baking

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowls
  • Electric mixer or whisk
  • Baking sheet
  • Oven or Air Fryer
  • Spatula
  • Piping bag (optional)

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth, then mix in powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Gradually add heavy cream and beat until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  2. Combine crushed Golden Oreo cookies, crushed freeze-dried strawberries, and melted butter in a separate bowl, mixing until you have a crumbly topping.
  3. Gently fold small flour tortillas in half over an oven rack or a foil-lined baking sheet to create a taco shell shape. Bake or air fry until crisp and lightly golden, or lightly fry in oil and shape immediately.
  4. Fill each cooled taco shell with a generous amount of the cheesecake filling, then sprinkle the strawberry crunch mixture over the top.
  5. Place the assembled tacos on a plate and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving for optimal results.

Notes

For best results, chill the cheesecake mixture and taco shells thoroughly before assembling. You can vary the fruit for different flavors.
