Method
Cooking the Noodles
- Cook the noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Preparing the Sauce
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, cornstarch, salt, and pepper until smooth. Set aside.
Cooking the Chicken
- Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 5–7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the sauce mixture and stir to coat the chicken. Let it simmer until the sauce thickens and becomes sticky.
Combining and Serving
- Add the cooked noodles and toss until they are evenly coated in sauce.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
Notes
Make sure not to overcook the noodles as they will cook more when tossed with the sauce. Adjust sweetness of the sauce based on your taste. For added crunch, consider adding chopped vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas when cooking the chicken.
