  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.75 cup Packed light brown sugar
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
Mixing
  1. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
Baking
  1. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing on low speed until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips by hand until evenly distributed.
  2. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are set.
Cooling
  1. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy these festive treats!
