Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix the tahini and butter until creamy.
  3. Add the brown sugar and granulated sugar, mixing well.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  8. Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  9. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
Baking
  1. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
