Chocolate Layer
  • 2 cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Milk chocolate chips
Caramel & Pretzel Layer
  • 4 cups Pretzel twists crushed
  • 14 ounces Caramels chewy, unwrapped
  • 2 tablespoons Heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sea salt flaky

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper or silicone mat
  • Microwave-safe bowls or double boiler
  • Spatula or offset knife

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat for easy removal.
Chocolate Layer
  1. Melt semi-sweet and milk chocolate chips using a double boiler or microwave, stirring until smooth.
  2. Spread the melted chocolate evenly onto the prepared baking sheet.
Pretzel and Caramel Layers
  1. Immediately sprinkle the crushed pretzels evenly over the melted chocolate layer.
  2. In a separate microwave-safe bowl, melt unwrapped caramels with heavy cream until smooth and pourable.
  3. Drizzle the melted caramel over the pretzels and chocolate layer.
  4. Sprinkle flaky sea salt over the caramel layer.
Chilling and Serving
  1. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until the bark is firm and set.
  2. Once firm, break the salted caramel pretzel bark into desired pieces and serve.
