Ingredients

For the Crust
  • 15 shells mini phyllo shells
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
For the Filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
For the Topping
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup fresh raspberries

Equipment

  • Mini muffin/tartlet pan
  • Mixing bowls
  • Electric mixer or whisk
  • Spoon or piping bag

Method

Prepare the Crust
  1. If using raw phyllo, gently press the phyllo dough into mini tartlet molds. Bake according to package directions until golden brown and let cool completely. If using pre-baked shells, proceed to the next step.
Make the Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined. Slowly pour in heavy cream and whip until the filling is light and fluffy.
Assemble the Tartlets
  1. Spoon or pipe the cream cheese filling into each cooled mini tartlet shell. Arrange the sliced strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries on top of the filling to create a festive red, white, and blue design.
Chill and Serve
  1. Refrigerate the assembled tartlets for at least 30 minutes to allow the filling to set. Serve chilled for a refreshing and patriotic dessert.

Notes

For best results, chill the tartlets thoroughly before serving. You can prepare the filling and crust components ahead of time and assemble just before your event.
