Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 packet instant yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk, warmed Make sure it's warm, not hot.
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pink food coloring Add until desired shade is reached.
Filling and Topping
  • 1 batch cream cheese frosting For drizzling on top.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Add food coloring until you reach the desired shade.
  3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until it’s smooth. Let it rise in a warm place until it doubles in size.
Assembly
  1. Roll out the dough and spread a layer of softened butter.
  2. Sprinkle a mixture of sugar and cinnamon over it.
  3. Roll up the dough and cut it into rolls.
  4. Place the rolls in a baking pan and pour heavy cream over them.
Baking
  1. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
  2. Let them cool slightly, then drizzle with cream cheese frosting before serving.

Notes

You can experiment with different colors of food coloring to match different occasions. Consider incorporating nuts or chocolate chips for added flavor.
