Ingredients

Main Crab Mixture
  • 8 ounces imitation crab meat flaked
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons green onions chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Crescent Rolls
  • 1 (8-count) can refrigerated crescent rolls

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Baking sheet

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet. In a medium bowl, combine flaked crab meat, softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, chopped green onions, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper; mix well.
Assembly and Baking
  1. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles. Spoon about 1-2 tablespoons of the crab mixture onto the wider end of each triangle, then roll up starting from the wide end towards the pointed end.
  2. Place the rolled crescent bites on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed. Serve warm.

Notes

Serve warm for the best flavor. For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the crab mixture. These also make great leftovers when reheated gently.
