  • 1/2 cup Creamy peanut butter
  • 1 large Large egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup Soft caramel candies unwrapped and cut into small pieces

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy; then beat in peanut butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined, then fold in chocolate chips and caramel pieces.
  5. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, ensuring adequate spacing.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are golden and centers are soft; cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Ensure your butter and eggs are at room temperature for the best cookie dough consistency. Do not overbake to keep the cookies soft and chewy.
