  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
  3. In a separate medium bowl, mash the ripe bananas, then whisk in the egg, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overmix the batter.
  5. Divide the muffin batter evenly among the 12 prepared muffin cups.
  6. Drop small dollops of Nutella onto the top of each muffin, then use a toothpick or knife to create a swirl pattern in the batter.
  7. Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean; let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For an extra chocolatey flavor, consider adding 1/2 cup of chocolate chips to the batter along with the wet ingredients.
