  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Use plain or Italian-style breadcrumbs.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated Parmesan works best.
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced) Adjust garlic to taste.
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley (fresh)
  • 1 egg Acts as a binder.
  • 1/4 cup milk You may use any milk or milk alternative.
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper Adjust to taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, egg, milk, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  2. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing to retain moisture.

Notes

Serve with mashed potatoes, salad, or roasted vegetables. For extra flavor, drizzle with barbecue sauce or ketchup on the side. To store leftovers, wrap tightly and refrigerate for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
