  • 1 cup green beans, trimmed and chopped Fresh or canned green beans can be used.
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 package puff pastry, thawed Ensure it's fully thawed before rolling.
  • 1/2 cup crispy fried onions Add more for extra crunch.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil (for brushing) For a golden finish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped green beans, cream of mushroom soup, and crispy fried onions. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into small squares.
  4. Place a spoonful of the green bean mixture onto each square.
  5. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling to create a bite-sized parcel.
  6. Brush the tops with olive oil for a golden finish.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  2. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

These bites are best served warm right out of the oven. Make sure your puff pastry is fully thawed for easy handling. Feel free to add cheese or spices for extra flavor. If you want a crunchier texture, add more crispy fried onions on top before baking. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
