Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef Lean ground beef recommended for less grease.
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 ea egg
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, milk, egg, ketchup, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  2. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider placing a strip of bacon on top of the meatloaf or experimenting with different spices.
