Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sautéing until fragrant and the onion is translucent.
  2. Add the diced bell peppers and cooked sausage, cooking until the peppers are tender.
  3. Stir in the shrimp and cook until they turn pink.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and sprinkle the Cajun seasoning. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  6. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the pasta, mixing until melted and creamy.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

This dish pairs well with a fresh green salad or crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce. If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days. To reheat, add a splash of cream or water.
