Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons butter For melting
  • 10 oz mini marshmallows Can substitute with regular marshmallows if cut smaller
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
Decorating Ingredients
  • Green melting chocolate For coating the hat tops
  • Black icing For attaching the brim
  • 1/2 chocolate wafer chocolate wafer for the hat brim
  • Candy corns For decoration

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  2. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until they are completely melted.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat.
  4. Add the Rice Krispies cereal to the melted marshmallows and stir until everything is well coated.
  5. Let the mixture cool slightly, then shape it into small hats by forming the base and the top separately.
Assembly
  1. Dip the tops of the hats in melted green chocolate to create the hat shape.
  2. Use black icing to attach the chocolate wafer to the base of the hat.
  3. Decorate your hats with candy corns for an extra festive touch.
Finishing
  1. Allow the treats to set, and then enjoy!

Notes

Store your Leprechaun Hat Rice Krispie Treats in an airtight container at room temperature for 3 to 5 days. Avoid refrigeration to prevent hardening.
