  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil For cooking the beef
  • 2 pieces green onions, chopped
  • 1 piece avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup cooked rice (white or brown) Ensure it's well-cooked
  • 4 pieces rice paper wrappers Prepare according to package instructions

Method
 

Cooking the Beef
  1. In a skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in soy sauce and chopped green onions, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Assembling the Rolls
  1. Prepare rice paper wrappers according to package instructions.
  2. On each wrapper, place a spoonful of cooked rice, some beef mixture, a slice of avocado, and lettuce leaves.
  3. Roll tightly, folding in the ends as you go.
  4. Serve with sesame seeds sprinkled on top if desired.

Notes

These rice rolls can be served warm or at room temperature. They are great as a main dish or can be sliced into smaller pieces for appetizers.
