Ingredients
  

Jalapeño Poppers
  • 12 Jalapeños
  • 8 oz Cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 6 slices Bacon halved lengthwise

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice jalapeños in half lengthwise and carefully remove seeds and membranes.
  2. In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, and salt.
  3. Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
  4. Wrap each filled jalapeño with a half slice of bacon.
Cooking
  1. Arrange poppers on a baking sheet and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes.
  2. Cook until bacon is crispy and cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

For less heat, soak the jalapeño halves in ice water for 30 minutes after deseeding.
