  • 4 cups Ripe peaches, chopped Choose ripe peaches for the best flavor.
  • 2 cups Sugar Adjust based on your taste preference.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice Freshly squeezed for best flavor.

Preparation
  1. Wash and peel the ripe peaches, then chop them into small pieces.
Cooking
  1. In a pot, combine the chopped peaches, sugar, and a squeeze of lemon juice.
  2. Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring frequently until the sugar dissolves and the peaches are soft.
  3. Bring to a boil and let it cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring often until it thickens to your desired consistency.
Storage
  1. Pour the hot jam into sterilized jars and seal tightly.
  2. Allow to cool before storing in the refrigerator.

Notes

Store your Homemade Peach Jam in a cool, dark place. Once opened, keep it in the refrigerator and consume within a few weeks. It can also be frozen in airtight containers for longer storage. For a smoother texture, blend the peach chunks before cooking.
