Making the Jello
- In a medium bowl, sprinkle the unflavored gelatin over 1 cup of cold water and let it sit for 5-10 minutes to bloom and soften.
- Gently warm the fruit juice in a saucepan over low heat if desired, then add the bloomed gelatin mixture and optional sweetener, stirring continuously until the gelatin is completely dissolved and no granules remain.
- Pour the jello mixture carefully into a glass dish, individual molds, or desired serving container. Transfer to the refrigerator and chill for at least 4 hours, or until completely firm.
Notes
