Preparation
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the dark chocolate using a double boiler or microwave until smooth.
- Spread the melted dark chocolate evenly onto the prepared baking sheet.
Layering & Chilling
- Melt the white chocolate with peppermint extract until smooth.
- Carefully spread the peppermint white chocolate over the dark chocolate layer.
- Immediately sprinkle the crushed candy canes over the white chocolate.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until completely firm, then break into pieces to serve.
Notes
For best results, use high-quality chocolate and ensure each layer is completely set before adding the next. Store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
