Ingredients
  

Chocolate Layer
  • 12 oz dark chocolate chopped
  • 12 oz white chocolate chopped
Peppermint & Topping
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1 cup candy canes crushed

  • Parchment paper
  • Double boiler or microwave-safe bowls

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate using a double boiler or microwave until smooth.
  3. Spread the melted dark chocolate evenly onto the prepared baking sheet.
Layering & Chilling
  1. Melt the white chocolate with peppermint extract until smooth.
  2. Carefully spread the peppermint white chocolate over the dark chocolate layer.
  3. Immediately sprinkle the crushed candy canes over the white chocolate.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until completely firm, then break into pieces to serve.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality chocolate and ensure each layer is completely set before adding the next. Store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
