Cheesecake Layer
  • 16 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream cold
Chocolate Layer
  • 5.9 oz Instant Chocolate Pudding Mix large box
  • 3 cups Cold Milk
Cake Layer
  • 12-15 oz Pre-baked Brownie Bites package, cut into cubes (or 1 pre-baked 9x13 inch brownie, cubed)
Garnish
  • 8 oz Whipped Topping container, thawed (or 1 cup homemade whipped cream)
  • Chocolate Shavings or Mini Chocolate Chips for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk for 2 minutes until thickened, then let it set for 5 minutes.
Assembly
  1. Begin layering in a large trifle bowl: first a layer of cubed brownies, then half of the cheesecake mixture, followed by half of the chocolate pudding.
  2. Repeat the layers with the remaining brownies, cheesecake mixture, and chocolate pudding.
  3. Cover the trifle and refrigerate for at least 3-4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the trifle to set.
Finishing
  1. Before serving, spread the thawed whipped topping evenly over the top of the trifle.
  2. Garnish with chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips.

Notes

For an extra rich flavor, you can use homemade whipped cream instead of store-bought whipped topping. Ensure all ingredients are well chilled for best results.
