  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 pack egg roll wrappers Check package instructions for wrapping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until it is browned.
  3. Add the shredded cabbage, carrots, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, ginger, salt, and pepper. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Lay out the egg roll wrappers on a clean surface. Place 2 tablespoons of the turkey mixture in the center of each wrapper.
  5. Fold and roll the wrappers according to the package instructions.
Baking
  1. Place the rolled egg rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spray the tops with cooking spray.
  2. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Notes

Serve these savory egg rolls warm with your favorite dipping sauce. Make sure not to overstuff the egg rolls to prevent bursting while baking. Experiment with different vegetables or spices for additional flavor. If you want a little kick, consider adding red pepper flakes to the turkey mixture. You can easily swap the ground turkey with ground chicken, pork, or tofu for a vegetarian option.
