Burger Mixture
  • 1 lb ground turkey Lean protein option
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs For binding the mixture
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese For added flavor
  • 1 unit egg Binder for the patties
  • 1 tsp garlic powder For seasoning
  • 1 tsp onion powder For seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning
Buns and Toppings
  • Burger buns For serving
  • Lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, etc. Customize your toppings

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until just combined and form the mixture into burger patties.
Cooking
  1. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat.
  2. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  3. Toast the burger buns on the grill or skillet.
Assembly
  1. Assemble the burgers with your desired toppings and serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Uncooked patties can be frozen for up to 3 months.
