  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar Can be adjusted to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil Adds depth to the flavor.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil For cooking.
  • 1 cup cooked rice For serving.

  1. In a large pan or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground beef to the pan, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until browned and cooked through.
  4. Stir in the broccoli florets and cook for about 3-4 minutes until they are vibrant green and tender.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Pour this sauce over the beef and broccoli mixture, stirring to coat evenly.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through and let the flavors meld.
  7. Serve the stir fry over cooked rice.

Notes

To serve, garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stove.
