Ingredients

Grinch Oreo Balls
  • 1 package Red Velvet Oreos 15.3 oz, crushed
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 12 oz Green Candy Melts
  • Red Sprinkles for decoration
  • Heart Sprinkles optional, for decoration

Equipment

  • Food Processor
  • Large Mixing Bowl
  • Spatula
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Microwave-Safe Bowl

Method

Making the Oreo Balls
  1. Finely crush the entire package of Red Velvet Oreos using a food processor or by hand.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese, mixing until well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into small, bite-sized balls and arrange them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Refrigerate the Oreo balls for at least 30 minutes to ensure they are firm.
Decorating
  1. Melt the green candy melts according to the package instructions, usually in a microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted green candy, letting any excess drip before returning it to the baking sheet.
  3. While the candy coating is still wet, immediately decorate with red or small heart sprinkles.
  4. Allow the candy coating to set completely either at room temperature or in the refrigerator.

Notes

For best results, ensure cream cheese is softened to room temperature for easier mixing. If the mixture is too sticky, chill it slightly before rolling. Store Grinch Oreo Balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
