- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- Form mixture into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
Grilling
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill turkey burgers for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
Serving
- Serve on burger buns with lettuce, tomato, and any desired toppings.
Notes
These burgers are best served hot off the grill. You can also customize them easily by mixing in diced onions, bell peppers, or BBQ sauce for added flavor. If you store leftovers, let them cool before placing in an airtight container; they stay fresh for about 3 days in the refrigerator or can be frozen for up to 3 months.
