  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Light brown sugar packed
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
Mixing the Dough
  1. In a large bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar, mixing until smooth.
  2. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined and no streaks of flour remain.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Baking
  1. Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
  2. Bake for 9-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
  3. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For an extra gourmet touch, sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt on top of the cookies before baking.
