Preparation
- In a bowl, marinate the sliced beef with soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and ginger for 20 minutes.
Cooking
- In a pan, heat a little oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove the beef from the pan and set it aside.
- In the same pan, add the broccoli and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender.
- If using, mix cornstarch with beef broth or water and add it to the pan. Stir well until the sauce thickens.
- Return the beef to the pan, mix everything well, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot, either on its own or with white rice.
Notes
You can serve this dish over white rice, brown rice, or even quinoa. Add sesame seeds on top for extra flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to a month. Reheat in a pan or microwave.
