Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine the dried bread cubes, chopped celery, chopped onion, dried cranberries, chopped parsley, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper; mix well to distribute.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the chicken/turkey broth, melted butter, and lightly beaten eggs.
- Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients, mixing gently until just combined and all bread cubes are moistened. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm the mixture.
Cooking
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet. Form the chilled stuffing mixture into 1-inch balls, gently compressing each one.
- Place balls onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each, then bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and heated through.
Serving
- Serve the Festive Cranberry Turkey Stuffing Balls warm as an appetizer or a festive side dish.
Notes
For extra crispiness, broil the stuffing balls for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking, watching carefully to prevent burning. These can be made ahead and reheated.
