  • 1 cup white frosting
  • red and green food coloring
  • 6 pretzel sticks
  • small yellow or orange candy (e.g., M&M's Minis, small jelly beans)

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Divide the white frosting into two bowls; tint one red and the other green using food coloring.
  2. Frost each snack cake completely with either red or green frosting to create a candle-like appearance.
  3. Insert one pretzel stick into the top center of each frosted cake to serve as the candle wick.
  4. Place a small yellow or orange candy on the tip of each pretzel stick to resemble a flickering flame.
  5. Optionally, decorate the edible candles with sprinkles, then arrange them attractively on a serving platter.

Notes

For a more stable wick, you can dip the pretzel stick in melted chocolate before inserting it.
