Preparation
- Gently melt the chocolate using a double boiler or microwave until smooth. If using, stir in vanilla extract.
- Ensure your chocolate molds are clean and completely dry.
Molding
- Carefully pour or spoon the melted chocolate into the molds, filling them to the desired level. If adding fillings, place them in the molds before or after pouring chocolate, ensuring they are covered.
- Gently tap the molds on your countertop to release any air bubbles.
Finishing
- Place the molds in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is completely set and firm.
- Once set, carefully remove the chocolate candies from their molds.
Notes
For best results, consider tempering your chocolate to achieve a shiny finish and prevent blooming. Store candies in a cool, dry place.
