Ingredients

  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • popsicle sticks or small spoons

  • Microwave-safe bowl or double boiler
  • Mixing spoon/spatula
  • Silicone molds or small paper cups

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gently melt the dark chocolate using a double boiler or microwave, stirring until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder and powdered sugar.
  3. Stir the cocoa mixture into the melted chocolate, adding vanilla extract if desired, until fully combined.
  4. Spoon the chocolate mixture into silicone molds or small paper cups, inserting a stick or spoon into each.
  5. Refrigerate the spoons for at least one hour, or until completely firm.
  6. Carefully remove the set hot chocolate spoons from the molds and store them in an airtight container.

Notes

For variations, add a pinch of cinnamon, chili powder, or crushed peppermint candy to the chocolate mixture before setting.
