Soup Prep
- Combine broth, water, grated ginger, and minced garlic in a large pot and bring to a simmer over medium-high heat.
Cook Dumplings
- Carefully add the frozen dumplings to the simmering broth, reduce heat to medium, and cook according to package directions, usually 5-8 minutes, until tender.
Add Vegetables & Seasoning
- Stir in the baby spinach, soy sauce, and sesame oil, cooking for another 1-2 minutes until the spinach wilts.
Serve
- Ladle the hot soup into bowls, garnish generously with sliced green onions, and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can sauté a small amount of minced shallots or white onion in the pot before adding the liquids.
