Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the milk, egg, and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Cooking
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
- Remove from the skillet and keep warm while cooking the remainder.
Serving
- To serve, stack the pancakes and use chocolate chips for eyes, whipped cream for antlers, and berries for decoration.
Notes
Make sure not to overmix the batter as it's okay if there are a few lumps. Use a non-stick skillet to prevent sticking and consider using a large cookie cutter on the skillet for perfectly shaped pancakes.
