Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar to form the crust. Press the mixture into a tart pan.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes.
Filling
- In a saucepan, heat heavy cream until it just starts to simmer. Remove from heat and stir in dark chocolate chips until they melt and the mixture is smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, sugar, vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, and eggs until everything is well combined.
- Pour the chocolate mixture into the pumpkin mixture. Stir until smooth.
Assembly and Baking
- Pour the filling into the baked crust, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the tart is set.
- Allow the tart to cool before serving.
Notes
Serve with whipped cream on top, and consider adding cinnamon or chocolate shavings for a decorative touch. Best enjoyed after it has cooled.
