  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
For the filling
  • 1 can pumpkin puree (15 oz)
  • 1 cup heavy cream Heated until simmering
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips Use high-quality for best flavor
  • 3/4 cup sugar Adjust based on taste
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 large eggs

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar to form the crust. Press the mixture into a tart pan.
  3. Bake the crust for 10 minutes.
Filling
  1. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream until it just starts to simmer. Remove from heat and stir in dark chocolate chips until they melt and the mixture is smooth.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, sugar, vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, and eggs until everything is well combined.
  3. Pour the chocolate mixture into the pumpkin mixture. Stir until smooth.
Assembly and Baking
  1. Pour the filling into the baked crust, spreading it evenly.
  2. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the tart is set.
  3. Allow the tart to cool before serving.
