Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9-inch pie dish or baking dish.
- Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic in a pan until softened, then add the spinach and cook until wilted. Squeeze out any excess liquid from the spinach.
Assembly & Baking
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Stir in the cooked spinach and onion mixture, along with the shredded cheese, into the egg mixture.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and bake for 40-50 minutes, or until the quiche is set and lightly golden brown.
- Let the quiche cool for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of nutmeg to the egg mixture or a sprinkle of paprika on top before baking.
