  • 1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
Peanut Butter Frosting
  • 1/2 cup Peanut Butter creamy
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter softened
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 2-3 tbsp Milk
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy; then beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  3. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl, then gradually add to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. Press the dough into the prepared dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until lightly golden; let cool completely.
  5. For the frosting, beat softened butter and peanut butter until smooth, then gradually add powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until fluffy.
  6. Once the bars are completely cooled, spread the frosting evenly over them, then cut into squares and serve.

Notes

Do not overbake the bars to ensure they remain soft and chewy. Allow the bars to cool completely before frosting and cutting for clean slices.
