- Pat the steak dry using paper towels to enhance searing and flavor.
- In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper to make the marinade.
Cooking
- Place the steak cubes in the slow cooker, pour the marinade over them, and stir to coat evenly.
- Distribute the butter pieces over the steak mixture.
- Cook on LOW for 4-5 hours or HIGH for 2-3 hours until the steak is tender.
