Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 4 medium potatoes preferably Yukon Gold or Russet
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated freshly grated for best flavor
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil extra virgin recommended
Spices
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground for best flavor
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika smoked or sweet, based on preference

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and cut the potatoes into wedges or cubes.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and paprika until evenly coated.
  4. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the potatoes and mix well.
Baking
  1. Spread the potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, turning halfway through.
  3. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Make sure to cut the potatoes evenly so they cook at the same time. Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet; this helps them get crispy. For extra crunch, you can use Panko breadcrumbs along with the Parmesan cheese. Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days. Reheat in the oven until hot and crispy.
