  • 1 cup heavy cream Can use low-fat cream, but sauce may be less creamy.
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese (grated) Adjust quantity for extra cheesiness.
  • 2 tablespoons butter For sautéing the garlic.
  • 1 cup chicken broth Low-sodium recommended.
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning Adjust to taste.
  • to taste Salt Sea salt recommended.
  • to taste Pepper Freshly cracked preferred.
  • for garnish parsley (chopped) Adds color and freshness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients, including chicken breasts, minced garlic, and heavy cream.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Cooking
  1. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet, cooking for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth, scraping up any bits stuck to the bottom. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix until the cheese melts.
  4. Sprinkle in the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Serving
  1. Plate your Garlic Parmesan Chicken and drizzle the cream sauce over the top. Garnish with parsley.

Notes

Serve with a side of steamed vegetables, rice, or pasta to soak up the sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
